Rasha Alahmad is a PhD candidate at the University of Michigan School of Information. Her research interests are at the intersection of identity and technology. One of the main questions she has been seeking to understand identification the self with organizational technology and the consequences of that on cognitive and emotional behavior.

Rasha is advised by Lionel Robert. His research focuses on the collaboration through and with technology. His research has been published in leading information systems and information science journals, including ISR, JMIS, JAIS, PACM-HCI and JAIST.
